Mohammedan Sporting Club have travelled to sweden for the past four years to participate in the biggest footballing event of the year "The World Youth Cup". with over 30,000 people participating in the event and an ashtonishing 1500 teams from all over the globe.

In 2005 the club travelled out to Sweden with the Under 16's team to officially represent the country of Bangladesh at the event. It was an experience that all of the youth team will remember for the rest of their lives, from attending the opening ceremony to taking part in the field of play. It was a first for all the players that travelled.

The club intend to take these aspiring young players once again this year and participate amongst the worlds elite in the one week scheduled tournament. For more details about the tournament itself visit the Official Gothia Cup Website @ www.Gothiacup.se .

The current Under 18's side are in full training to compete in these lucrative tournaments. The management are looking to recruit more young talented players to add to the squad. Mohammedan SC also travelled to Bangladesh in Janurary 2006 to compete with local teams from Sylhet. They came back unbeaten, having played 6 games with various teams from within the country.
